- The Central Office ICT Service (CO ICTS) is the only entity authorized to remove MFA from M365 accounts.
- If you need to remove MFA, you must submit a request to the CO ICTS through your Division or Regional ICT Office.
-
MFA Removal Request:
- Provide a valid reason for the MFA removal request, such as loss of access to the registered MFA device.
- The request must include your full name, DepEd email address, and any relevant details about the issue.
-
Processing Time:
- The CO ICTS will review the request and, if approved, will remove the MFA requirement from your M365 account.
- You will be notified once the MFA has been removed, and you can then set up a new MFA method if required.
Following the proper procedures for password resets and MFA removal ensures the security and integrity of DepEd email accounts. By adhering to these guidelines, users can maintain access to their accounts while protecting sensitive information.
